The problem

A One Properties (ONE) and Wheaton Group development, Southpark on Whyte (SOW) is a uniquely prestigious building in Edmonton and specifically in the Old Strathcona area. The impact of the pandemic not only delayed the build, but had a negative impact on vacancy.

How we solved it

ASKF supported SOW by continuing to showcase the quality, craftsmanship and environmentalism considered in all aspects of development.

Partnerships in and around Strathcona were formed to further support SOW's community focused vision. To announce the prestigious LEED Gold designation, ASKF worked closely with ONE to plan and execute an event merging tenants, community members and allies. Each aspect of the event displayed SOW's dedication to sustainability and design.

Event Planning & Execution

The event kicked off with a litter clean-up in Old Strathcona and introduced residents to a local re-fillery. ONE Properties and the Wheaton Group unveiled a moss wall surrounding the LEED Gold plaque to commemorate the announcement and a commitment to continued environmental stewardship.
